The cost of a video really depends on what it is you’d like to shoot if you’re shooting something such as a standard online post for Facebook maybe you don’t need a $15,000 set up and huge lights but if you’re shooting something like a business welcome video. Do you want to make sure that the quality remains the same across all platforms and your audio is just the way it needs to be. So the cost can vary.

Typically we don’t just shoot the footage and give you the raw files for a number of reasons but one being that most computers that the average consumer buys isn’t capable of handling the types of files that come from a high-end camera these files are large files that can crash your computer if it’s not built for those files.

Your time and your budget is extremely important and is not to be wasted. A camera, operator or production team that isn’t prepared and doesn’t have the experience can surely waste an hour or more as opposed to a skilled crew that can make your hour worth way more than you spent. at the same time an hour shoot still requires set up time before hand and break down.

The budget that you have is 100% based on your team and what you’re looking to accomplish. Just ask yourself what is it that I want this video for, and what do I want it to do for my team or company. You can get a video shot for as little as five hundred dollars from some professionals upwards to $30,000 but it depends on exactly what you need it for. I wouldn’t recommend spending only $1000 for a welcome video of your company that everyone’s going to see and judge your company by.
